And I don't mean becoming the artful dodger in time for Christmas.
Oh no. What I mean is about spending some creative time with your little one(s)
Did you know that the children in the UK are, reportedly, the unhealthiest and unhappiest on the planet. !!! Check out the Unicef report
This is all due to too much time being spent (nearly 5 hours a day) in front of screens and not enough time being spent with parents doing activities.
Scary stuff indeed!! And I'm certainly no angel. Being a full time mum who's started her own business, has freelance work and cooks and cleans,
the TV is a vital necessity sometimes. And I think most stay at home working parent's would agree. Being a modern parent can be tricky.
What we need is to spend some time with our children teaching them new skills whilst also having fun and I mean for you too!
If only there were some really super cool crafts you could create together that got sent through the post....
Jo who came up with idea loves being crafty and wanted to help children explore new skills whilst having fun.
I was impressed with the gorgeous graphics and the ingenious product design and luckily Jo sent me a couple of boxes to try out and I was blown away.
The outisde of the box is really cool, but when you open it up it's even cooler!
The interior is completely covered with things to do; word searches, stories about the project, colouring-in bits and lots more.
These projects are really well thought out, every little detail is considered. The boxes contain everything that you'll need for the project,
plus a pictorial step by step guide so you won't get in a pickle. The projects are for 8+ year olds and we think they rock!
We definitely ask you to get involved with this cool company and getting crafting with your sproglet.
Next up is Piñatabox founded this year by Ej Trivett after she read the Unicef report. Ej wanted to make a difference and it sounds like she really will.
Her boxes are made for 3-8 year olds and we've fallen in love with them. Not only do they sound cool (they're still in production) BUT the profits will
go to children in deprived areas that need this stimulation the most.

Jo & Ej - hats off to you ladies - you are helping us parents spend more precious time with our bundles of joy in a fun and exciting way.
